The Battlefield Fire Protection District is accepting applications for fire fighter residents at Battlefield Fire Station 2 located on East Evans Road just south of Springfield Lake. Don\’t miss the opportunity to live in a fire station and become one of Battlefield\’s Bravest! Requirements for residents are Firefighter I & II and First Responder. The Battlefield Fire Protection District is currently seeking applications to fill the position of Fire Department Chaplain. This will be a volunteer position to meet the needs of the District and its citizens. Applicants should be an ordained minister with ecclesiastical endorsement. The Fire Department Chaplain will be expected to assist the employees of the Battlefield Fire Protection District and the citizens we serve with grief counseling, Critical Incident Stress Management, and religious support as needed.
